The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of this website. Tekkeez Tech Repair offers this website (www.tekkeez.com), including all information and services available from this website to you, the user, subject to your acceptance without modification of all the terms and conditions contained on this website.
By visiting the site or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Your use of the website constitutes your agreement to all terms, conditions, and notices, and any changes to these Terms and Conditions made by Tekkeez Tech Repair.
Use the website at your own risk. This website is provided to you without warranty of any kind either express or implied. Neither Tekkeez Tech Repair or its employees, agents, licensors or the like warrant that the website or its operation will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, or error-free. Tekkeez Tech Repair reserves the right to change or discontinue at any time any feature of the website.
Our services are only available to individuals who are at least 18 years of age or older, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, representations and warranties set forth in these Terms, and to abide by and comply with these Terms.
Liquid Damage Diagnostic and Repair Service
The term “liquid damage” is not limited to water, but includes soda, alcohol, sweat, and humidity. Liquid causes corrosion and rust on many components which can result in reduced device functionality after it is disassembled and reassembled. A device that may arrive in “working” or "partially working" condition with liquid damage present, may not work after the diagnostic is performed.
Before approving repairs for a water damaged device, keep in mind that liquid damaged devices typically have a 50% chance of being repaired successfully for the long-term and this should be considered when approving repairs on liquid-damaged devices.
If a device is operable upon arrival, you are responsible to back up the device before leaving it to be diagnosed. Tekkeez Tech Repair is not responsible for any data loss/non-working devices after a diagnostic is performed in the presence of liquid damage.
The liquid damage repair service attempts to get the motherboard of the device to an operable condition. This service does not include parts such as physical buttons, batteries, Wi-Fi cards/cables, or any other components that are not built into the motherboard itself.
If the liquid damage motherboard cleaning service resolves all device issues, then the customer will be responsible for the cleaning fee stated on the work order. If the motherboard cleaning service does not restore full functionality to the motherboard of the device (meaning the phone cannot be fully repaired), there will be no charge for the motherboard cleaning service.
Replacement Parts
We are independently owned and operated and not affiliated with any original device or computer manufacturer. As part of the repair services provided to you, Tekkeez Tech Repair is providing you with replacement parts. We make an effort to obtain original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts and we may use OEM or quality refurbished parts for the repair. We keep the damaged parts that we replace as a condition of the repair service we provide.
Computer Repair, Virus Removal, Data Backup, Software Install
To provide any computer related service, we may need to transfer information or install software. The customer acknowledges that Tekkeez Tech Repair is authorized to perform such updates and that we can accept software license terms, subject to customer’s legal right to the software, on behalf of the customer to complete a specific repair service. Software installation fees may apply.
The customer is responsible for backing up any personal information, user files, software or data on the computer or device and removal of all media (disks, DVDs, etc.) prior to Tekkeez Tech Repair performing any services. We will not back up any files unless the customer requests a data backup service.
For virus removal services, we may use a variety of software applications to remove a virus. During the removal service, we may discover infected files on the computer or device and these will need to be deleted. Tekkeez Tech Repair will contact the customer if we cannot complete a virus removal or repair.
Drop-off and Pick-up
We offer a drop-off and pick-up service to all customers. Devices must be picked up within 30-days after we notify you that your repair is complete. Any devices on our premises after the 30-day period will be considered abandoned and Tekkeez Tech Repair reserves the right to dispose of or recycle the items at our discretion.
Payment for Service
Payment is required prior to or at the time you pick up your device. A refundable repair deposit may be required for parts that must be special ordered. If you wish to obtain our services, you will be asked by Tekkeez Tech Repair or a third party provider to supply certain information applicable to your purchase, including, your name, email address, service address, phone number or credit card and other billing information.
You understand that any such information will be treated by Tekkeez Tech Repair in the manner described in our Privacy Policy. You agree that all information that you provide to Tekkeez Tech Repair or such third party provider will be accurate, current and complete. You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any users of your account and credit card or other payment mechanism at the price(s) in effect when such charges are incurred. You also will be responsible for paying any applicable taxes relating to your purchases.
Accessory Return policy
For any accessory products sold, the Tekkeez Tech Repair return policy is 30 days. The product may be returned within 30 days and it must be unused, unopened and all parts in perfect condition.
Dispute Resolution
We try to handle every customer interaction in a professional manner and to promptly resolve any disputes or misunderstandings. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, the venue for arbitration or any cause of action arising out of or related to the service provided must be in Chicago, Illinois or the Court of Cook County in the State of Illinois.
